Variety from WW2 to Modern Times

SESO was established in 2018 as a unit focused on immersion, variety, and common sense realism for a complete Arma 3 experience. We design operations that are fun to play, easy to join, and asks as little as possible from you. Our casual playstyle is tailored towards having fun, but we always play to complete the objective. There is no required experience, minimum age, DLCs, or “basic training” in order to participate in our operations. We do not care about dual-clanning or required attendance, come when you feel like!

Roles, not Ranks

We do not privilege players with medals or ranks just because they have been with a unit for a long time. Roles are given to those who ask for it. Our structure allows anyone choose any role, whether it be squad leader, sniper, UAV operator, etc. as we trust you can fulfill the responsibility. Players do not have to commit to a particular role and are open to switch any time.

Mods

We care about variety. This means we subscribe to CUP mods for modern day and cold war settings. For WW2 settings, we use IFA3. For everything, we use ACRE2 radios with ACE3. This way, we cover as many theatres without taking up too much storage space. Here's a selection of our largest mod presets:

We try to offload as much mods to scripts to reduce storage size. We tend to switch between these mod presets so you don't have to download new mods every week.

How Realistic?

Fun first, realistic later. This means our ACRE2 radios are configured to be as simple to use as possible (no frequencies and no terrain occlusion). Our ACE3 settings make healing fast, disable combat deafness (no more earplugs!), and increase player health (damage threshold set to 6.5). This makes our playstyle casual with less frustrating deaths.

Active Community

We play games every night like Escape from Tarkov, CS:GO, Minecraft, Hunt: Showdown, Men of War 2 and others. If you are looking for a community of friends, we are always welcoming.
